Best tire you can run is a fresh one, people worry about rear pattern a lot but run tires below 70-80% unless you’re in extreme conditions the best thing you can do is just make sure you have good bite

Liam, I ran the 81’s I’m telling you try the MX 33, even better the new MX34. For off road/ enduro stuff there great

rear 81 is awesome. front not so much. it has to push and scare you before it grabs.

AT81s are elite for woods especially if you pair the rear with a mousse bib

Recommendation for everyone on a dual sport is the metzeler mc360. They come in mid-hard and mid-soft, and are rated at 95/5 off/on road. They rip.

Kenda ibex are also a great option for off-road, quite soft so you’ll be replacing them more often but they got that gorilla grip

My father runs them on his 450. Personally I’m a fan of the MX33s

Didn't like them. The rear was good, but didn't like the front in Muddy conditions. M5 medium/soft is my go to for our terrain here. About the try the 6s.

Quick question, does it matter if I put a directional tire backwards? Will it really make that big of a difference?

You should try the art ratrax only reason I say that is they're so cheap you can keep replacing it time and time again and do what I do and do a whole wheel setup with different gearing for different tire. Zip tire sprocket to the spoke. And in that short little clip that soft grassy mud run a fat tire. Pump it up all the way do a nice burnout on the street knock the tread down a little bit then let it down to your desired pressure but not too low and that will act like a paddle. Without getting all walkie at high speed.
