$52 grand for this GT! That’s insane! You might as well buy a Mach 1 for $56 Grand!

I can tell you that a 5.0 mustang can easily do 145 with power left, so yes they are a great car. It was not the most stable past 130 but it did it with ease

If you want to do some heavy modding, get a 11-20 GT, if you want some mild mods get this. If you’re going to stay stock for a while get a 24.

If you want it, get it. I just received 2023 S550 last week (also a stick Rapid Red, but with HP and Magna Ride- I can catch up with a couple vinyl wraps later) and couldn't be happier. I was going back and forth, but I just loved the look of the S550 vs the S650. Also, even though Ford is doing a lot of things well with the new platform, new tech and new designs give new problems. I'd wait a few years before I bought a new one.

Manual transmission in standard Gt isn’t bad for daily driving. Two small upgrades and they are a lot better. Just most buyers don’t make the small tweaks. What I find funny is my 09 GT came stock with Tremec 5 Speed. Yet prices are a lot higher on current mustang and Tremec not standard. Thanks Ford for screwing your loyal mustang customers.

This one has the “nite pony package”. That’s why everything is blacked out (including the roof).

I'm glad I bought my 21 mach 1 w handling package. Got it for msrp and it's a 6 speed as well. To your point about the dark horse, had I waited, it would have cost me 12 to 20k more. Ridiculous. I love the car, horsepower is underrated and looks great. Good deal for now, but will 2024s be as good of a deal? Plus I think the s550 has more personality. Not a fan of just putting ipads on the dash.

It's a good transmission as long as you drive it like a gt without reving much and shifting very slow with a lot of clutch overlap

52k for a mid level GT is insane and out of the realm of affordability for the average person.

The internet blows the MT82 trans issues way out of proportion. I have a 17 GT making 700+ HP. The MT82 trans hasn’t missed a beat. The car overall has handled the abuse very well.

The Tremec 3160 found in the GT350 and Mach 1 may shift smoother but it’s not a stronger trans.

Not sure if its just me but the Tremec on the Mach 1 doesn't have a smooth and soft transition from one gear to another.
