Don't forget the other downside to Elytra + Riptide, if your computer isn't beefy enough to load the chunks fast enough you might ram head first into an invisible mountain and instakill yourself because of how the elytra works. Not speaking from experience or anything *cough cough*

I don't care to go fast in my world as i haven't built too far away like a 1000 block away. I always build in under 1000 block from my main coordinate and connect those with minecraft and make a good looking railway system which i like to travel and it looks good to, and for adventure obviously elytra is good or any animal is also good
