I was part of a church growing up that used to have a strong choir. I remember as a teenager singing this music and loving this cantata. I strikes me that as I go through life (a good 20 years later) how much more this music hits me. I'm a sobbing mess, thinking about my Savior and what He has done for humanity. Every song is beautiful. I'm deeply moved by Peter's Song, and Save Yourself going into Because He Loved Us So (THANK YOU LORD FOR INSTEAD SAVING US!)...what a beautiful truth in song, and then finishing with Worthy Is The Lamb...one of my all time favorite songs to sing! My father is now choir director and the choir has shrunk to a mere 20 voices ( a shadow of what is once was) but he still choose this cantata to perform this last Resurrection Sunday and even though I am across, serving in a music ministry in my new church, I am so proud to listen to it again!
Thank-you so much for sharing the original copy. It was very well put together and has been loved by many choirs.

My father directed this twice in my lifetime and I had the blessing of singing it in his choir. He is now in glory with my mom celebrating Easter with their Saviour! I can’t wait to see Jesus and thank Him for what He’s done for us! Hallelujah! ♥️✝️🙏🏻

I also sang this absolutely beautiful and amazing piece of music in a small church in La Mesa, CA. It has stayed with me since then and I listen to it EVERY EASTER.

Seems like everyone who sang this 40 and 50 years ago remembers it "like it was yesterday." 😉

I am 40 and when my mom and my brothers were in the choir, they had this beautiful piece. We had it on a cassette tape.

I remember when I was 15 years old 35 yrs ago, I participated with our church choir singing this beautiful Cantata. It was like watching a movie with a suspenseful & yet soothing background music. Its message & music were all captivating. It truly ministered to my soul. I still have not forgotten all the songs. This musical Cantata is truly anointed. To God be the glory🙏❤🙏 great things He hath done through our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

About 39 years ago, this cantata was chosen by our Choir Director, Walt Grayum.
Even now, this music is how my heart approaches with reverence the the victory over death and sin Jesus brought for every soul. This music, over months of rehearsals, effected all of us, as it lives within us. It’s music is inspired.

Steve, it is difficult to express my gratitude to you for posting the complete cantata. I have only been able to find individual sections. 33 years ago I was blessed to be in Greeley Christian Church choir. We performed this on Easter Sunday. I listen to this every Easter season. I shared it on Facebook as, perhaps, not everyone has ever heard it or heard of it. God Bless You and thank you!

We've performed this cantata twice in the 80's but it never gets old. To me the message is always fresh and reminds me of how great God's love for us.

So glad to find this on Youtube. We heard this presented at Bible Fellowship Church in Ventura in the mid 1980s. The message is timeless, and the music so tuneful. It helps worship our great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, and encourages us to keep our eyes fixed on Him and His second coming.

Cantatas Musicais dos anos 70, 80 e 90 são para mim as melhores do mundo e jamais serão esquecidas de pai para filho e os netos, tataranetos... Parabéns!
