Bing Bong makes a surprising comeback in Inside Out 2. Remember everyone's favorite character from the first movie? After helping Joy return to headquarters, Bing Bong tragically faded away and became a Forgotten memory. We all thought that was the end of him, but in the sequel, he's back—not in the way we hoped, though. While Riley seems to have permanently forgotten him, Joy clearly hasn't. She keeps an origami figurine of Bing Bong and his rocket on the shelf by her bed. If you look closely, you'll notice the figurine has a small trunk and wears a jacket just like Bing Bong. It's a touching tribute to Riley's imaginary friend who sacrificed himself so that Joy and Sadness could return to headquarters and save Riley.
