I may be a Ham Technician license holder, but I got that because I wanted to learn the info, not to tell people how to have fun or be safe. Radios are such a powerful tool for the common citizen and so many just rely on their cell phones. When we have an *actual* large cell tower outage, people will start to lose their minds while those of us with radios and a plan will be doing okay.

I am a HAM and the most frustrating thing about HAM radio is the sad HAMS. They are gatekeepers and hall monitors. However being a HAM radio guy showed me how to avoid getting caught when I use radios out of specified use. For example those baofengs can be unlocked to do FRS, GMRS, MURS, as well as HAM frequencies. Amongst many other things I would never do because the government loves me and wants the best for my family. Act accordingly.😅

It wasn't Don Rickles, it was Gavin MacLeod (captain Steubing on the Love Boat) who played the tank mechanic. Rickles was also in the movie, but played a different role. Nearly 60 years after I first saw it in the theater, Kelly's Heros is still one of my favorite films of all time! 🇺🇲👍
