President Biden's big motorcade in New York during UN security operation

The NYPD fully shut down 6th Avenue so that President Biden's motorcade could pass through unobstructed, en route to the Bloomberg Global Business Forum at The Plaza Hotel.

President Joe Biden was travelling in the armored Presidential State Car aka 'The Beast', surrounded by US Secret Service and security teams. The New York Police Department (NYPD) kept the motorcade moving by shutting down all side streets and erecting barriers along the sidewalk. Officers lined the route to stop people running out, while a helicopter watched over.

I was just in NYC on the 25th, around the spots you filmed here. I saw the motorcade as well. And assumed it was Trump?

Any tips on how to spot it? Tried to get a glimpse when he went to the Met Gala, but no luck, and the NYPD would of course not tell us which way the motorcade would go.

4:43 the unmarked VW Atlas is an interesting vehicle of choice for the NYPD. I am not sure if it’s true or not, but I heard the NYPD contracts with some rental car companies to acquire rental cars for their fleet as the department relies heavily on different vehicles to patrol the whole city.

They need to upgrade to a glassless vehicle with proper screens and cameras to emulate glass. Having reactive armor and make the whole vehicle armored. A single gau-8 ammunition could cause trouble. I was checking product sheets for what saint gobain is doing for glass but doesn't fit the security requirements.
