Yeah I could never play the Mobile version I just couldn’t handle the fact that they kept telling you what to do the whole point of the Sims is to do whatever you want so yeah I got pretty frustrated lol

Y’all gotta understand that this game is simply one of those time-gate games. The type of games that never run out of challenges and events to do. They use the sims overall aesthetic and plot, but it’s definitely not supposed to be a mainline anything.

It’s simply a progression game. It’s more fun when you only probably buy a house and earn everything else. Gives me something to look forward to when I open my phone.

Okay, I used to play this game, but it's been a good two years.

I had to play this for a year before I bought a laptop and Sims4.
EVERYTHING is stolen from Sims4 packs and base game in Sims mobile.
I was amazed how many packs I had to buy to recreate my sims from mobile in sims4!

I know this video is for fun, but, here's a f2p, lvl 60 view of the game if anyone wants it:
You can get 95% of everything unlocked in a few months, playing once or twice a day.
You can makeover all NPC's to look any way you want.
Energy recharges every hour and a half, but you can get 60+ extra energy by using the toilet, shower, bed and bathtub.
Save your Simcash to buy the fourth sim (third one is free), and a bathtub, then use the rest however you want.
Simcash is easy to get, the Sim festival can net you 200+ and in the Treasure hunt you can dig up 30 or 50, you also get 3 for every career lvl advance.
Game is obviously not as good as the main one, but it can be "beaten" without spending a dime.

My first try with modern Sims was this game. I remember trying Sims 4 for the first time in a computer shop then wanting more and getting this instead. When I got into 3, then eventually 4 I realized that SO MUCH was ripped from the music to the objects from the game. And yeah, it feels nothing like a life sim. While things like Sims 4 weddings are their own kind of disaster, Sims Mobile events are bound to super tedious and real time consuming stuff.

But hey, atleast Freeplay has free crawling babies which I think you could totally try over that matter.

My now husband and I played this a lot a few years ago while his father was dying in the hospital. It was so mindless and actually helped him get through some days. But, it’s a shiat game! 😂😂

"At least there is something to work towards."
YES. I know that people like having their own fun and making their own challenges with the Sims but I wish there was the option to have more progression markers in the game, have some semblance of standard gams difficulty baked in.

I LITERALLY started playing the mobile version a couple of days ago to check things out. The constant mansplaining and all the objects being straight from TS4 p*ssed me off too

@1:15 I play the sims freeplay and the sims mobile from time to time and I always noticed that when the sims 4 has a new like kit or something they will have like similar items on sale in those games but will change the name of the pack/items.

I love sims mobile. It is the single most user friendly game for building & design. They never hound you with ads throughout the game. Twice a day you get 15 ads that come in an arrow above the mailbox. You can ignore them if you want. But the rewards for watching a 15 sec ads is super generous. Now, while I've never spent real money on the game, their item to purchase with sim coin/cash are very expensive & increase in price with each one you buy! I hate that. Its so shady! 🤬
There are many challenges that give you items it does balance out. 😉 Like PC sims series, play is extremely repetitive. But they do yoga and dance, which is so hilarious, it keeps me very entertained. Also, I like to let my mind drift and create stories, or take a still frame and build a narrative from that. They say a picture says 1000 words so I just turn that into a writing exercise and it's fun. So if you enjoy any of that & architecture and interior design, I can not recommend the Sims Mobile enough. Infact it should come with a warning ⚠️ caution, this game may steel your life. 😆 lol.
