Invent your own CAREER in The Sims 4?

I have the German version of the game and this option is translated to "Beim Arbeitsamt melden" which basically means "to register as unemployed"... So it doesn't really feel like an own career 😅

I did this when I made my simself and she was an interior designer. I did that before the pack so when it came out I was so excited 😅

IMMEDIATELY hopped onto the game and did this because a lot of the ways I have my sims make money is through non “official” career things. I never knew you could do this and I’ve always hated that my sims showed “unemployed” because I didn’t have them making money through already existing jobs. Thank you! I’m like overly excited about this 😂

If you want to get payment for your own career, I had an idea in mind. For an example in the video, you could be a florist. You could build a greenhouse and then plant your flowers in the greenhouse. After that, you can sell them to make a profit. I know that this is pretty self explanatory but I wanted to share this just in case! 😊

Oh, I didn't know I can do this. They should have called it differently though 😂. Maybe register as a freelancer or something. Ministry of labor usually serves for unemployed people who then...well stay unemployed until they find a job.
