Never an icon on the level of Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman? Shazam, that is the real Captain Marvel, was the most popular superhero of the golden age. He outsold Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Yes he was on their level and beyond. And I hate that because of Marvel Comics we have to call this guy Shazam.

Why is everyone still comparing Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel to DC' Shazam that the latter is the real Captain Marvel than the other? Seriously, why not everyone should be happy that both films are becoming so successful right now?

Finished watching it now and I give it 10/10. Everything about this film is just great. This is Geoff Johns New 52, C.C. Beck and Bill Parkers story combined into one story.
