I just had a trigger point between my 2nd and 3rd metacarpal.

I thought I might have fractured my hand for a bit, and had referred pain halfway upy forearm.

I started to carefully manipulate and prod the area. Once I hit a point distal to the bases, the pain was excruciating, but slowly alleviated the hand pain from a 5 or 6, to about 2.

I think it was one of the dorsal interossei muscles, but I could be wrong.

Amazing how much pain a little muscle can cause though..
