I'm a Mexican, and I LOVE my country with my soul!
I think I am a person who does not coincide at all with the stereotypes of the average Mexican, because I have white skin, not brown; I love tacos and Mexican food in general, especially antojitos and garnachas, but they're not my favorite food (they're one of my favorite foods, but not my most favorite), I'm from the north of the country (Tijuana, Baja California), but my city is not in the desert (however, the capital of my state, Mexicali, is) I'm not catholic, but a Mormon (latter day saint), so it means I don't drink alcohol ❌🍺🍷🍸🍾❌ (tequila, mezcal, wine, cider, margaritas, aguardiente, etc.) nor coffee ❌☕❌.
And Mexican music is something I'm proud of, but my favorite songs aren't Mexican traditional music like mariachi, banda (norteño), rancheras, etc., but my favorite music genre is Pop Latino or pop music in Spanish 🎶🎵, my language.
And I'm also gay 🏳️‍🌈👨‍❤️‍👨 (I mention this because many people believe that Mexico is country of "machos", but the reality is that there are also diverse people here).
