I caught EVERY shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! This video is the product of a year long challenge when the games first launched and is the first of several living dexes I've attempted, so if you like it, there'll be more!

Also 110% that first Dratini was shiny but that's ok pobodies nerfect, even the best of the best of the best will fail a shiny sometimes especially when there's no special effect to indicate it's shiny like PLA

a lot of people say that in this game shinies are way too easy to find and i do agree but those are usually people that found a shiny the day this game came out, unlike me where it took me several months before my first shiny

For the zombie apocalypse my first thought was alakazam for the teleporting, but then noivern because it’s big enough for you to fly on it, it’s got really good hearing to listen for approaching danger and it’s one of my favs regardless lol I get Tropius has bananas but it’s slow, bulky, and big enough it would struggle to fit in most buildings and would attract attention. Good choice for if you’re in one of those classic “safe” compounds though

filling up a shiny living dex takes so much effort, hats off to you!

small correction to 24:02, though - knocking out 60 pokémon at a regular outbreak with the shiny charm brings the odds to 1/819.60 and to 1/512.44 with the shiny charm and sparkling power 3.
the odds you brought up (1/160.93 with the shiny charm and 1/144.06 with the shiny charm and sparkling power 3) only apply to the special distribution outbreak events (like the recent pikachu/pichu/raichu/mimikyu ones and the tatsugiri raids that are currently going on). still really good odds, but not nearly as high
