I did this without coconut milk and it was delicious. Instead of grated ginger and garlic i used the powder ones (bc i didnt have the whole ones at the time). I also used turmeric instead of coriander.

Sear the meat first, reserve then add the onions etc... You'll get better maillard reaction this way !

I cooked this dish, delicious! The only thing I will change is the amount of water, it came out too soupy. I’m going to eat the broth, but I like thick consistency. 🤤

Made this today and completely screwed it up. Onions were to big which made it to watery then just couldn't get it to Thicken up. 😢
