Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)

Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”

thank you so much! seriously, before I came across this channel I had NO idea what I was doing haha. But you cleared EVERYTHING up. you are SO helpful & can explain everything so well. I feel like my professors explain it the hardest way possible, but after I hear how you explain everything it actually makes sense. THANK YOU

@Katelynoliviaa Great question! They are the same thing; both are just asking you to find the derivative of the function. Good luck on your test!! :D

I never log in, but I just did to tell you that you are awesome!!!! big, big help... Im just wondering why they changed the name of the outside, inside rule to the chain rule...its so much easier to understand it when you name it outside inside rule...you deal with the outside then with the inside if its not derivable....books just mess up with your head. anyways THANKKS!

I'm not sure I totally understand what you're saying, but I don't think you could get this problem to 3x^2+9. I can't see a scenario where that would be right. :/

this is probably a really dumb question, but I am NOT a math person and I'm taking calculus this semester & currently studying for a test and my brain is practically fried haha....but is differentiating and finding the derivative two different things? or are they kind of the same....because when I am asked to differentiate, I am stating the derivative at the end. I guess I'm just confused when some problems are asking me to find the derivative & some asking to differentiate.
