Thanks it worked. But after restarting or stating New ipaddress coming. i did not change anything ipconfig/ used default. And not showing in network tab. using CMD to open network folders.

Any advice.

i'm getting the following error message : 'windows cannot find ' (my ip address) ' Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

The IP address though is the one that is returned from the cmd prompt when i query ipconfig....what gives?

Everything is ok, but my laptop is asking for a id password. Which password should I enter ? My laptop has user password, by desktop don't have any. And I have tried my broadband user id password and it didn't work.
