I watch a lot of your videos. I keep forgetting to thank you! Not just for the content, but also because you are someone that works your butt off and stays humble. Appreciate you my friend.

Thanks for the tip! I'm in the process of daily driving my fox again after many years. I just use it every now and then to cruise around the block.

If traveling with someone, leave a cell phone in the car overnight. Hide it somewhere out of sight. If in the morning, it's gone, you can use whatever "find my phone" or GPS tracking setup you had on that phone, and go get your car back. Android normally shows me location within meters, like I can see I'm in the south east corner of my house. I've been SCREAMING this idea for years! EVERY big event, and I'm talking the big races, you have someone in a 50K truck, with a 25K trailer, with a 50-150K built racecar.... parked at a $70 a night hotel and in the morning the whole car/truck/trailer is gone. Then it's shared over 50 FB groups "be on the lookout for..." Yeah, nice thought, but that guy was probably traveling with a couple friends and one of them easily could have left a phone in the trailer, but nope. :(

Good ideas! BTW, if you want cup holders but you want to keep your console stock, there's a double cup holder that stabs into the ashtray opening.

I 3d printed some basic cupholders that clip on the left and right of the shifter.

Good stuff! You can say I Day-ly drive my 89 since driving at night is horrible (lowered with a rake does not help). The last car event I drove to I had the no cup holder with coffee syndrome. Good chatting with you at LMR event. So you at FTO 2023!!!

Great tips bud, the collective insurance is a very good one, even for the Sn95 & New Edge Mustangs as well,
they are getting up there in age.

All good stuff! I wish there were some better options for cup holders for the 4 eyed foxes, lol. There are some really good and affordable GPS Tracking systems out there now, you pair something like that with a good alarm system and it does put the mind at ease a bit.

Mustang Rule #1: No Eating and No drinking while in the Mustang. That'll fix the need for cup holders.
I'm not even allowed to and I own the Mustang.

I've yet to find am LED headlight that works right. They're bright but splatter light everywhere.
Gave up after 3 buys.
I have not tried LMR lights.
MOST of my cars I put the brightest DOT legal halogen I can get and aim the lights down and right and drive on brights all the time. Nobody complains👍👍👍

My 89 GT vert lights were crap with the standard alt, I went with a higher amp alt ( 90 not the 103 ) and Sylvania Silver Stars. They have been in there for10 years. The turn signals work faster and the amp needle stays above 12. Stock everything else with electronics ... Always a Ford Motor Craft battery.. but they are getting harder to find., convertible are so easy to get into, the alarm I had installed was just to add power doors option and interior sensor for reach- ins when the top was down and shock sensors for impacts or getting lifted up...The color matching cup holder I got from LMR was great upgrade, it fits into the cig ash tray cup opening when it's removed. They now have a complete replacement center console top ( paint to match )for just that and cell phone spot and USB charging jacks...I went with Hegarty Ins.. its and agreed value cost ... one payment that covers the car a full year.. Farmers was 6 months just like our daily driver and twice the costs..There are restrictions through Hegarty but its not a daily driver...

You really don’t need a cup holder if you can hold a beer between your legs while lighting a cigarette and steering with your knees. I know people who do that.

I've got Hagertys on my 79 Ghia Hatch. Very reasonable price. I pay less in a year than I do on my 07 GT in a month. You can buy a gps disabling system that hooks into your ECU that will kill the car and track it at the same time.

I used to wire a kill switch for the fuel pump (on the ground wire to the fuel pump relay) and would hide the switch somewhere inside the console underneath a panel where it wasn’t visible and only able to be found if you knew where to slip your fingers in heh

Wish you lived close to me here in sunny Florida! I could use some help w my sn95!

Insurance - most mileage allowance I have found with Classic insurance is 7500 miles allowed per year with Hagerty’s. Not enough miles allowed for how much I want to drive.

a fuel shut off and a gps tracker for starters. I got a 91 Camry, easiest thing to steal...and no cup holders, haha
