Let's stop those oil tankers going up the St Lawrence right now!! How about it SINGH??? Shipments of oil by rail car only. More dangerous than pipelines, but who cares anymore!! Partial tanker ban on the west coast, but a different story on the east coast. I wonder why?? Maritimes and Quebec voted for the Liberals. Enough is enough!! Republic of Alberta. Free and strong!

Getting a little tired of Jagmeet Singh's cutesy little "MR." name-calling sprees.
JAGMEET IS 'MR. JUVENILE'.

if you want to cut down emissions the best system is to service delivery hubs that might use short-range electric vehicles with railways that might be electric - as Canada forces more and more oil and gas onto railways they lose the capacity to distribute goods efficiently. oil and gas don't want to be on the railway, they are much safer and more efficient in pipelines.

this is not the first time environmental hysteria has done more harm than good - consider the ethanol regulations that forced more food production into fuel production raising prices a little for us but a lot for developing nations - leading to the spread of unrest over the past decade

it's even possible that the Montreal Protocol 1987 and Acid Rain Treaty 1991 caused the subsequent global warming by removing aerosols from emissions and lowering the Earth's albedo

hysteria and misinformation are bad enough but mass delusions and disinformation are dangerous - when you put spineless, scientifically illiterate politicians at the head of a mob deliberately engineered into anger and fear by social physics you get reactionary legislation and it is prime pickings for charlatans and snake oil sales
