Mountain Lake PBS is proud to bring you the final leaders’ debate as Canada’s 2021 federal election comes to a close. Before Canadians head to the polls you can hear party leaders make their last pleas to voters.
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, Bloc Quebecois leader Yves-Francois Blanchet, and Green Party Leader Annamie Paul meet face to face for two hours. The topics, which were debated at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, QC, included the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare, reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, climate change, and leadership accountability.
