Metal Gear Solid is a game that is fresh and new the older you get. As a kid, you're drawn in by the walking robot and action and cool character you play. As an adult, you're drawn to the political struggle and depth of the characters and the lore surrounding Metal Gear. What a stellar game and series.

Oh, fuck, I never realized it, but when Snake says "Frank Jaeger" at 6:21, you can see Naomi's expression break for a split-second. Fucking genius tell right there.

Hits so much harder when you realize how much damage Big Boss did, he nearly started WW3 TWICE and completely annihilated The Boss's legacy.

I actually unironically like Snake's "yup"s, his delivery throughout the whole scene felt like it was even more painful to talk about killing Big Boss, when Naomi questions him about it using very blunt and direct phrasing, it sounds like he could barely muster up the strength to get out even a simple "yup" in response. So much emotion is being conveyed with just a single word.
