I've been using my LG G6 for exactly one year now, excellent phone, especially for the 420€ I paid for it in October 2017. I'm not too sure about the G7 and V40 though...

I'm loving this phone! Once they dropped the price it was a no brainer. Battery life has been excellent so far. Of course it's not going to be the same as a 4000 mah battery but it's good for what it is. Reviews are usually biased towards the reviewer's perfered brand so I take them with a grain of salt. As someone else said you get this phone for the unmatched audio and the manual photography controls.

I personally like LG phones as in my country they're comparatively more affordable than Samsung or Apple. But one thing which is restricting me from buying a LG is their software update system. They're quite slow and it's quite hard here to fix a LG phone as there are very few service centers.

Bought this on a verizon 400.00 off deal and wow i love it!! The display is great, sound with or with out a peripheral connected, battery life after like 3 charge cycles is great, its fast as hell, camera's and video are amazing! Ive had a lot different phones and LG keeps upping the game!

From the review on Android Authority's website, this is not a joke: "LG prides itself on keeping its phones extremely lightweight, and the V40 continues this trend. I like denser, heftier phones — they give me the sense I’m actually getting value for my money — but I can appreciate the engineering that went into making the phone so light. Sure, this is extremely subjective, but this is a review, after all. I like my phones heavy." Yes, he actually said: "I LIKE MY PHONES HEAVY"
This makes no sense! Cell phone makers have put an enormous amount of R&D into making phones as light as possible, as well they should. Light phones feel better in the pocket, because you can forget they're there - heavy phones weigh your pockets down. And let's not forget HOLDING THE PHONE IN YOUR HAND. Who in their right mind wants it to be heavy? The last thing we need is reviewers from major review sites saying they want heavier phones.

Great triple camera set up including Wide Angle Lens, Quality DAC, Headphone Jack, Great Speaker, SD Card support (it’s just so much easier and cheaper to get an SD Card for more storage rather than having to buy a new phone just to get additional storage), FM Radio, ip 68 water and dust resistance, Great Build Quality (MIL-STD-810G compliant) Bluetooth 5, Fingerprint Scanner, Wireless Charging... ticks so many boxes.
