LG V40 ThinQ Review

Selling for between $900 and $980, depending on the carrier, the V40 ThinQ is again competing with the best in the smartphone market. So, can this triple-camera phone execute well enough to push LG over the hump and solidify the V40 ThinQ as one of the best smartphones money can buy? We used it for a week to find out.

I looked at 10 review of this LG V40, this guy and other roast the display when the others says its a serious improvement and it's abolutely beautiful in every way.They giving people the impression the phone is okay when the phone is far MORE than that and it's the reason why the phone goes underrated.

The screen is awesomely BEAUTIFUL not just fine, its comparable with the note and sony zx3.These review talk so little about the phone when its awesome.

drop frames in gaming could be attributed to game optimizations. Best in class manual controls for the camera and yet no mention of that WTF? V series is made for the consumer that likes to tinker is settings and controls. Sorry I have to dislike this video

Too much nitpicking, you completely missed out on the new features such as AR animations and GIF maker. The camera looks fine.

Trying to diss LG much ?? Proud owner of V30 Plus Thinq, found it better than note 8 or s8 when bought, love the audio and manual camera control, LG produce unique devices not just go with the flow features, samsung added wide angle cam just now, why the hell top players did not think of this sooner, much more useful in most scenerios and most sensible implementation of dual cameras, you want portrait mode, just install google cam and voila, now you can take portrait pics from wide angle camera too, damn paid youtubers don't define functions of LG properly, not a single one

Please turn off the battery saving (game optimizer) in the settings before testing it for gaming.
It is on by default to help you save battery at expense of gaming performance.

That's an incredible phone right here. LG are listening, they took the V30 which is an amazing phone and improved it where it needed improvements. Bigger sensor, zoom lens, good selfie camera. IMO the best phone on the market right now.

The audio is very nice. Directly comparing the same video, the v40 sounds much better in hand, and laying down. The phone I compared to is my s8+ . Later comped to my brothers s9+ and the v 40 steals. The show. While the 9 seemed louder the sound quality and dispersion through a room was better. Headphones yes their thing is outstanding compared to the other flagships. Apple is second or first . Hard to say. But the spacial surround sound when its programmed right is the best. And as v50 nears its reveal the v40 sits at a nice price, but is a hard phone to find.

Funny I would love to know if any of these Phone Reviewers have any degrees in Photography before scrutinizing Cameras although I don't expect any phone cameras to be on par with a Point and Shoot never alone a SLR/DSLR. Opinions on many should be backed up with compared DSLR Camera shots taken by the reviewer. It's never about the camera but the user behind it.

I've got the v40 and he was doing some crazy stuff on it that I'll never figure out how to do. Definitely have no regrets of getting it. Definitely better than my v20.
