Everything about this scene, and this movie, are reasons why I want to go into filmmaking. The editing, cinematography, score, is all top notch. Props to Jeff Cronenweth and David Fincher for their brilliance.

The background score really makes this film great.

This scene is PHENOMENAL. One of the greatest in film history. The writing, direction, acting, score...all of it is wonderful!

Can we all just appreciate that Jesse Eisenberg did a hell of a job in this movie

"Did I adequately answer your condescending question?" My all time favorite line in a movie.

This is how Jesse should have acted playing Lex Luthor

Just noticed that when Jesse says "It's raining" the camera blurs out the lawyer (the lawsuit), then when the camera changes to the window with the rain it is in full focus. Really brings across the point that he isn't paying attention.

It also backs up Jesse's later point that "no one in the room is intellectually or creatively capable" of what they are doing at Facebook. Consider the room's likeness to a box. Mark is looking outside the box and seeing a world full of potential, while everyone inside is just pissed off at each other, then when Mark muses about what he has noticed outside the box, everyone looks at him with disgust and disbelief as all their problems are confined within the box and Mark just brushed it off as if it is merely a mosquito because Facebook deals with problems on a global scale, something no one else in that room could comprehend.

Finally, Jesse turns to face the lawyer and the camera becomes focused again. Then he rips them apart :p

This scene is one of the big reasons why I adore this movie so much. It is easily one of the most well written movie I've ever seen just cause you could feel the tension in the room and the fact of the matter is that every single person in that room is just wasting Mark's time by being there. to him this whole business of the idea that "he stole their idea" is just like a bothersome fly that just won't leave him alone. It even shows that he thinks so little of them that he's more focused on it raining outside. And just when you think he's barely even caring about what's going on he just shuts them down with that monologue at the end. Ugh such brilliant acting and writing

I just realised that the subtle wink he gives is actually a sign that the monologue by Mark just gave them their winning ticket

Imagine if the real Mark Zuckerberg addressed Congress like in this scene.

I can't tell you how many times i've watched this scene, and I just noticed the subtle wink the Winklevi's lawyer does after mark goes on his rant like he's saying "yeah, we're gonna win this."

I like the soundtrack here. It starts off happy when he's not paying attention, and when the lawyer starts to make him mad and ominous underlying tone happens, later growing to become a much clearer ominous tone as he gets more mad. Very good soundtrack.

01:02 " I have a legal obligation to say no " . Clever.

All of Aaron Sorkin’s dialogues sound like music, and Jesse Eisenberg’s delivery definitely plays a large part in that.

Whatever you say man, Jesse deserve an Oscar for this performance. Show me another actor who can pull this off like he did.

Holy shit I've watched this movie a dozen times and only now realized that at 1:36, the lawyer winks at Cameron (or Tyler). This is exactly what he wanted

*Has one minute rant condescending everyone in the room as much as he possibly can*
