i bought the subscription so that i can access slicers that i had during excel 2013. i no longer have excel 2013 so why is it i pay for the subcription and i still dont have slicers??

When i click on update now, its shows downloading then it shows "Something went wrong"

Sadly, I don’t have the option button from the file settings😭😭

In my case, the update setting explicity said it was already set to automatic, which turned out to be a lie, as the download that began after I clicked it was extensive, and fixed the strange problem of flickering row and column labels that had been annoying me for months. Thanks but no thanks yet again, Microsoft.
