This video is on the Stanley Clamping Miter Box with Saw. It comes with a saw and two pins to hold the work piece in place. There are different miter box you can find, this is just one of them.

Hi there! I just purchased a miter Box from Harbor Freight. It might be a pretty plain box, but I wanted to check out several You Tube instructions and videos on how to mount the little yellow or red box to cut miter cuts and how to use the tool. It's good to know that I can, cut a 2x4 if needed as opposed to using my circular saw. Thanks for your helpful tutorial.

The 2 bottom tabs are as you said to align the box against a table edge for stability. I have a folding portable workbench table that clamps together. I usually just clamp the backside tabs of themiter box in the table to keep it stable.

Great demo, dude. I'm about to buy this and was curious if it was worth it. Had one when I was much younger, just recently getting back into woodworking again. Thanks for posting this!

The walls are vibrating like crazy when you saw the 45 degree😒 great video BTW .p.s. Its not a saw stop, its to add rigidity to the blade , its a back saw / tenon saw ..its just acts also as a stop because of the design of the box

Thank you for the video. Very affordable option for small projects and you can't afford an electric mitre saw.

Well it makes sense thank you sir you tried the 90* and the 45* but can you try the vertical cut? I never seen that one before on this miter box

Thanks Welking. Now I know! Would have been great to see you use the end miter cut, just to see it being done.

I was exhausted after watching you cut the thick piece. I kept thinking "take a break". 😅

Thanks Welking, we are new homeowners and appreciate your "straight to the point" videos. Do you mind sharing what clamps you use to secure the miter box to your table?

I don't have a work table. Was going to try this on the floor. Do i need a table for stability?

The question is...Were the cuts square?
