Yeah, that looks fire. You got me wanting to make homemade bread now and shit and homemade subway but I just started doing home cooking lately to save money because as you say everything, so damn expensive now for food and it’s like the simplest ingredients.

Damn that looks good all you're missing is the sweet peppers and it'll be a perfect sandwich

With the super red it’s not that has too much sugar. It’s just that it has any at all for the USDA standards it can’t have any sugar to be considered proper bread

I live in canada, a foot long from subway cost atleast $16

That dough needs to be hydrated a lot more than that. at least 100% hydration, using milk for half of it. Its the only way to get it soft enough without going through the effort of preparing a scorched starter. It should be wet enough that you can't use the dough hook, you will have to use the beater.

I bake all my own bread now. We figure out what we want in the morning and go from there. Probably saves me 30 bucks a week and the quality isn’t even comparable.

Depends on where u live but the category of bread is pretty political where they didn’t allow it to be bread. In my case being in the u.s subway bread is 100% bread and it has no where near enough sugar to be cake. But we don’t really have a tax on the difference classifying of foods I believe Scotland made it so subway bread isn’t bread because of a sugar tax. Also this is all just off the top but I think a similar thing happened in the us with bees. To add bees to a protected species thing it was classified as a fish

Kudos to you! Subway bread has cellulose in it. Flip flops are made from the same ingredient.
