22 years old. While growing up, they never said I had cavities. I had multiple fillers. Turns out they left my cavities under the fillers and I'm going through so much right now to have this fixed. So much pain and money.

I had a really bad dentist once, and he sent me to the ER 4 times. One time he squirted this disinfectant, or something on my tooth, and if went straight to my throat. I threw up, got stabbed in the mouth by his drill, hit my head on the light, it was bad. He just laughed it off, numbed me up more, and said he wanted to hurry before his lunch. We ended up getting a call from the police asking if we want to testify against him for malpractice

After I get a filling, the dentist will ask if my bite feels OK. Heck if I know my face is all numb. I love the idea to make a mold and then it's exactly the same shape.

Ive been to 3 dentists in the US and they ALL told me that even though im in tons of pain, my cavities were not big enough for them to get rid of so they told me i had to let them get bigger. SUCH BS. I went to Mexico and got it fixed that day for $250 and now i feel like myself again! No more pain and no more cavities!

My dentist tried to put sealant on a cavity. Twice I had to tell him that the tooth looked darker than normal and it needed to be filled. He finally agreed and was like “well, we’ll just lightly touch it with the drill and see if it opens up.” Few minutes later… “Oh, this might need a root canal.” I narrowly avoided that by insisting on an actually filling, but had I taken his advice, I would have gotten a sealant and a later root canal.

One dentist i worked with was the absolute ace at resculpting the little valleys and peaks on a tooth. It was great to watch.

Huge kudos to dentists who take efforts to do cosmetic work to replicate treated tooth like its original state. I got two large fillings in my lower jaw molars and my dentist just put a flattened filling that too with mistmatched over white composite colour 😂
