Yin and Yang isn't true.
Life doesn't need death in order for life to have happened. Death needed life in order for death to have existed. It is impossible for something to come out of nothing. Life always existed. God always was and always will be. Life doesn't need death. Light also overpowers darkness. Darkness of the absence of light. Good is greater than evil. They are not equal.

This is typical whitewashed propaganda. He don't know WTF he talking about. Ppl the true meaning of yin and yang strictly has to do with Martial Art invention in Central Shaolin before it became "Northern Shaolin". This present destination is really the traditional monument of Shaolin standing for the heritage of the place Martial Art was founded by the Chinese, i.e. Chu'uan (whom Tai Chi "Chuan" was dedicated to) Fa, and called it Wu Shu in Cantonese. (Ken Fat Gung-fu in Mandarin)
It (Martial Arts) is now PaQua (Southern China Royalty influence - like Penchak Silat is Kuntao Dutch influenced) Kuntao Style. (kune - the hand, tao is the way, ex way of the hand) The symbol of the Hand, like the tiger, snake, as forms of the (5) Animal style (1st level now). But the Yin and Yang is a multipole covering system for the martial Arts based upon "Zen and Chi". It is a force you can actually sense and feel from the person. So whoever this clown is Ibet you his life he doe not know something about Martial Art. BC if he did then he would know what "chi" is and how it is produced through Yin and Yang.
First of all, Y&Y are 2 circles. It is one circle inside of another. The first one has two halves which makes it one whole circle. The mystic meaning behind these three elements now (speaking of them) came directly from the 3 texts Buhhda introduced to Shaolin. (Buddha had no clue martial Art could be formed from them) They were the lotus sutra, (that has long been revised into something else like unto Martial Arts birthing karate) the I-Hseing and the I-Chieng. The later two being isometrics and calisthenics.
So while the 1st circle is for "Zen", it is "Chi" that is hidden in Zen (like Martial Arts was hidden in Shaolin). But to layer confusion to those outside the Temple, Y&Y was posed as the I-Hseing and I-Chieng. And that is bc the discovery and building up of Martial Art as a deadly form of fighting was done through meditation. The practice of the forms builds chi. The Y&Y covers "Zen&Chi" as the I-Hseing and I-Chieng. This is associated with three levels of martial Arts. (I weary to repose so...)

P.S. The reality that I have experienced with martial arts is that they (Chinese) really don't want other Asian nations to be able to claim it as theirs. This was the result of the Chinese Boxers Rebellion.
