Understanding Yin and Yang: The Core of Chinese Philosophy

A short video to give a basic explanation of the Yin Yang theory. Alltough it's far from complete I hope this can be of value for TCM students as well as people who want to know more about the Yin Yang symbol and it's philosophy.

Laws of duality/polarity /masculine/energy 😊. In other cultures it’s called Ma’at. I love how all cultures have this concept! So amazing. And you can always learn something from all.

I think it would be better to substitute the words "feminine and masculine" for "female and male", as people associate biological sex with gender (which is not accurate but they have been intrinsically tied to one another for quite some time) and those genders with either yin or yang, instead of both as it truly is. Both sexes have masculine and feminine energies and it is not just one or the other. We need our language to reflect these sentiments if we are ever going to change how people understand the energies (within themselves and each other)
