I've been saying for a while that I'd be doing videos on Arduino, electronics and Internet Of Things. But until very recently I didn't have the gear. Now I do - I bought this excellent starter kit from digitalCure on eBay, and in this video I run through the contents of the kit and show you how do the 'Hello World' of Arduino - changing the blink rate of the onboard LED.

Hi, Keef! Welcome to the wonderful world of Arduino. You'll want the breadboard power supply when your project uses more current than you can pull out of the Uno. Good luck with your new toys!

This is pretty cool. I do have a fascination with electronics. I'd like to see what you will do with this. There are many possibilities. An interesting thing. Today's electronic devices, such as games, smartphones, etc have more memory capacity than equipment used in the first moon landing. I've subscribed to this channel.

Arduino is a really powerful platform, all sorts of problems can be solved with one of those tiny little buggers!

Good stuff Keef, enjoyed my first foray into your world one question if I may though how does the Arduino compare with the Raspberry Pi, don’t know anything about either of them really but have been tempted to give the Pi a try previously but never quite got round to usual!
