The first workout after New Year's Eve was rough - and I didn't hit the numbers I'd hoped. So how do you know if you need to change your training plan, or whether you're just having an off day? Today we're hitting a Persist PERFORM workout while still dealing with the after effects of staying up way past our bedtimes. So let's talk rest, recovery, and when you really need a deload week.

I love how authentic you are... regardless that you are a beast. 💯😈

I went to bed at 9pm New Year's Eve and woke up when I heard fireworks at 11:58 p.m. and made sure and took a glance over at midnight. Does that count as staying up?

Thank you for all of this wonderful content you have no idea how transforming it is. ✨

I'm four weeks into Persist™ #pillars and I feel like a new man already. 🙏

I personally do one deload week every month and a half. But I do calisthenics so I need to test the skills once in a while

Staying up until midnight! You party animals!!! I made it until about 10:00 on New Years Eve haha (I’m 38 and have 2 kids). ❤

I appreciate this greatly. We live in a world of dichotomous *push*, and it’s a program.

I believe that whenever it is a strict automation, we lose connection with ourselves.

I definitely think there’s a balance between automation, and connection with our instincts. ( *which takes more brain energy than strict automation, and we are asked for the capacity to be comfortable with feeling* )

Great video I am really enjoying your content. What type of camera and lense do you use to film your videos. Keep up the great content?
