Pride is soooo sneaky. Let us pray!
Father,
I thank You for who You are. I thank You for Your Son, Jesus, whom You sent to die on the cross for us so that we may have life, power, humility, and so much more. Today, we ask that You forgive us for all forms of pride and rebellion in our lives. Forgive us for any and all unforgiveness, and for any thoughts of ourselves being greater, better, or more deserving than others.
Father, we ask that, just as Jesus was and is humble, You would teach us how to walk in humility. Clothe us in His garments and let us be seen in His light.
We ask these things in Jesus’ name,
Amen, amen, and amen.
