I have no idea how you ended up in my YT feed but as someone who battles with sobriety every day. You literally are a shining light to I’m sure not only me but millions of others who see just how you push through each and every trip out into the wild. It’s one thing to give up, which most people do but the real leaders, the real soul seekers, those who want to and push themselves every day to be a better person each and every day do exactly what you do and that’s take it to the max on each and every one of these videos I’ve watched I don’t ever see you give up. Throw up your hands. Or get emotional because things don’t go your way. You sir are the epitome of never quitting. I look up to you good sir. Hopefully through your content I can learn a little bit about the wild. To be dialed in with nature in a manner that you let go of everything else and find your way through the forest is something I think is in our nature.

Love the content and please keep it going. The last comment is 2 years only and I’m making you 2 years new!!! Please keep it going. Watching someone who has gone through addiction and now I’m watching you cook lamb in the Forrest bro. This is wild.

What’s your favorite way to shelter up in the bush?

Hey Xander! As I can see in the comment section there is a lot of people who share the same opinion as I. These videos are so freaking good and you should know that these mean so much to some people. So excited for the next one and well done Xander. I hope you enjoyed this one as much as we did! Thank you!

Best regards! - Peder from Denmark.

I really appreciate how you appreciate nature by using fallen trees and dead logs. Loads of other survival channels i’ve noticed don’t do the same; they’re always sawing down huge trees, but you’ve always been leaving minimal impact on the environment, it’s really heartwarming to see!

One thing I can say about you is you know SURE know how to cook up some good food on the fly. I'm not a camper, (not that I wouldn't want to, but I just haven't been exposed to it), but I really enjoy watching your videos. There's something very satisfying in them for me. Thank you for sharing them.

Funny thing is your video's are so relaxing to watch but I can't imagine all the work that goes into making one of these outing video's. Your a big inspiration for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Thanks Xander and have a great day!

the sound of the axe clinking on the tree branches is definitely top 5 most satisfying sounding things in the world without a doubt

I just did my first solo winter overnight in the snow at -5°C last night, got quite cold. But you doing this in -20 makes what I did seem like nothing!

As someone who lives in a tropical country with no great camping spots I love and really appreciate these videos. When I realized it was winter in Canada I suddenly remembered your channel. It really helps me relax and take my mind of what's going around the world right now.

Some tips regarding your calzone, pack the dough separately and individually and flour the surface so that it wont stick to whatever it is wrapped on. You shouldn't introduce any moisture to your dough until you're ready to cook it.

Xander I recently stumbled upon your YouTube channel and I’m very glad I did. Everything from your personality, the editing, the scenery, and the incredible cinematography is why this channel has become one of my new favourites. Keep up the great work and I’m eager to see what you have planned for the rest of the year! 🔥

Came for the poop tips, stayed for the delectable food 🤪 lol. Another great option is a bidet attachment that fits onto a small water bottle. Keep the small bottle inside your jacket so the water is nice & warm. Really appreciate all the camera angles and your editing skills. Well done!

Personally i've never gone camping...at a young age my parents never thought it was fun or entertaining to do so even though i've always wanted to, Watching these as an adult makes me really wanna live the dreams and just enjoy the outdoors. You are really an amazing person and have come so far..its amazing

Absolutely loving these. Brings back good memories back when I was with SAR Alberta where we had to learn the necessary skills to survive 3 days out in our boreal forrest in -40°C
