And man never let any negative comments effect the way you do things you got way more people who respect and appreciate what you do than those other people who have no life.

At college I could not pay tuition and off-csmpus room rent tso made a camp in wilderness outside town om a 30 foot mesa in Eastern Washington in early 70's. I used dead trunks set against a rock face, covered them with plastic sheet and dead branches. I lay my bedroll on pineneedles. Very little rain fell. I was dry. Cooked soup of plaintains and brook watercress over a lamp, maybe a snail or two! I did this for a quarter to catch up in finances. It worked! Shared my abode sometimes with shrews. My music was the wingbeats of wild geese flying over the mesa. Coyotes chorused. It was spring so did not draw attention by needing a fire for heat. God is merciful. Nature was kind to me. I too am Scandinavian. Maybe that helps surviving in this primitive fashion? Cheers

Carbon monoxide becomes dangerous when there is no air exchange between the enclosed area and the outside atmosphere. Here, there is much ventilation, so hardly any danger of carbon monoxide poisoning.
I really like your cozy, warm shelter, better than many I've seen you make!!

Your three-day winter camping adventure with a fireplace inside your shelter perfectly captures the essence of bushcraft and self-reliance. The way you create a cozy, warm space amidst the cold shows a remarkable blend of resourcefulness and comfort. Your storytelling brings the experience to life, making it a truly inspiring example of outdoor ingenuity. And I am Floating Village Life.
