Katie Phang moves right along, concisely, asks the questions we all have and a few we haven't thought of.
I find she is able to develop an understanding rather than hitting the sensational points.
Example: asking for a definition of oligarch in the current Russian context. The answer is that if you are a live billionaire in Russia, you have to have permission for that wealth from Putin and know that wealth is at all times at the disposition Putin.
I sort of knew that, but Phang brought that out explicitly.

Russia's only tank manufacturer, Uralvagonzavod, has stopped production, and upgrades, of armor due to lack of western components that are sanctioned. They are currently repairing tanks recovered from Ukraine.

The sanctions haven't just affected the oligarchs, it has affected the Russian military as well. So far the sanctions have resulted in the closure of the primary tank factory and antiaircraft missile factory in Russia due to lack of high-end electronic parts. Aircraft could be next. If this war goes on for too long, Russia will lose any ability to field high tech equipment.
