How to install CFW on Nintendo 3DS 11.16 for FREE with unSAFE_MODE & Safehax [2022]

Today‘s Video Tutorial i show you how to install custom firmware on Nintendo 3DS (2DS) with 11.16.0-48 for FREE using the unSAFE MODE method. This exploit use Safehax in the recovery mode to install boot9strap onto the console.

Supported was the (New/Old) Nintendo 3DS (2DS)(XL) in regions EUR, USA, JAP, and KOR

Old3DS/ 2DS: Firmware 6.0 - latest
New3DS/ 2DS: 8.1-JPN to latest

thanks, is worked on my old 2DS. i got stuck on the proxy settings because I didn't have the otherapp.bin file in the root of the SD card, but i fixed it so it's fine.

After I overwrite the wifi slots with slotTool and then boot up my console again it has not set the wifi slots, is there anything I can do to fix this?

It says in the title it works for 11.14 but in the video it starts off saying it works for 11.13. Does it work on the newest firmware just released.

is there a way I can get this work on older models of the 3ds? I have an original 3ds xl, and have homebrew and fbi installed but no CFW, is there any way I can get it to work without freezing on a yellow screen?
