SO annoying when people see you being thin and eating with no restrictions and comment things like: all women gain weight after 40 so enjoy it while it lasts
And at the end of the day why is this a bad thing?
Do women stop being worthy after a certain age and number on the scale?

I just had one singular piece of low carb, low calorie, thin sliced rye bread, and my mother's friend looked at me and goes. "You're getting older, and bread makes you fat more and more as you get older." *Looks me up and down* "Just so you know."

From what I’ve heard is the main reason we gain weight as we age is because we move around less, so we don’t exercise which leads to weight gain, not just because we age but the amount of work we have as we age which leads us to work out less

I always hated the “when you get to my age you can’t eat that stuff” comment. I grew up with so much fear that I was going to suddenly start blowing up in size once I hit a certain age.

Ok as someone who had to take shots ment for diabetics (ozempic is not a weight loss shot it's a diabetic shot) I can say they are hell. The nausea and vomiting while you're trying to get use to them is enough to make me wonder why ppl take them voluntarily.

God this is scary- I remember going to a restaurant for my grandmothers birthday, and my Aunt spent like 15 minutes dissecting which meal on the menu would be the “safest” and then spent 10minites talking to the waiter asking to get the chef to steam the fish instead of frying it, taking off the sauce, and not having any dressing on the salad!- how miserable!

Once worked in a nursing home. I had an older lady and she would only eat half the bread and she would save the butter and marmelade until we told her that her husband and children have already eaten and are full.
Really makes me wonder about the next generations.

When I was a teacher, I went out with some of the women I worked with on one of the Monday holidays (Memorial day, maybe?) for brunch. The waitress got us a bunch of pancakes and I felt so awkward because all these other girls were like "Oh, no, I couldn't, " and I was actually kind of down for a pancake.

I hate that people were being prescribed Ozempic as a weight loss drug and caused a shortage for diabetic patients. I’m glad that unless you are diabetic and need it to live it is no longer covered by insurance.

That triggered me and I wasn't expecting that. You captured my mom to a T especially the "light meal later" and the "when you get to be my age". She constantly says she ate like a pig when all she had was quarter of a bagel thin with cream cheese.

Dude my grandfather went on ozempic and almost died from "no apatite". He'd only eat like a pear a day and fell 17 times in a week unable to get up. He almost died. I HATE when people talk about others that are on drugs for certain things acting like it's a good thing. Idk maybe it's just me but type 2 diabetes ain't that cool-
So ya this lady deserves a good old slap to the face.
