It really is as easy as the video shows: my personal experience was a hot September day (90 degrees) and a lady in a motorized wheelchair could not get onto the sidewalk because someone had left their bird scooters just sprawled at the entrance. I actually stopped my car before pulling onto the main street, put on my flashers and got out to move the scooters onto the grass so she could access the sidewalk. The alternative would have been a two - three block detour for her. There had been no cars behind me when I got out, but there were two or three as I headed back to my car, and not one single driver had honked or seemed upset, and the one directly behind me gave a thumbs up. People appreciate acts of generosity whether they're the recipient, the giver, or simply the one to witness.

I remember an old man named Archie that lived across the street in the old neighborhood when I was a kid. He lived with his daughter and grandkids, who we went to school with. I remember one day it was raining cats and dogs when the school bus dropped us off. He was there waiting for his grandkids with an umbrella. Then when he saw my brother and I were about to get soaked getting home, he sheltered us with his coat and walked us home. I'll never forget that!

To do this for a young lady, who was obviously very distressed, and probably felt alone, is something that just touches the heart.
You should be so proud of yourself, she will NEVER forget your act of kindness & Support.

When I was young my friends and I went shopping and one of us must have knocked over part of the display. One friend helped pick things up but the rest of us didn't and the shop keeper said only she could stay and shop in the store. I was so embarrassed/ashamed. From that day I on I always stop and help. I appreciate being taught that lesson.
