Pro tip: you can do calculations through the spotlight, even converting values

Another great video, Gary! My current favorite trick is the sidecar with my iPad. Just type sidecar in spotlight or click on the icon in the system preferences menu, and it'll allow you to use your iPad as a second monitor. It's been really great for my workflow.

My favorite too with hot corners, is when you're setting them, you can hold a modifier. So the hot corners dont do anything, unless you hold command. Cause i always trigger them accidentally

extra quick tip: instead of pressing command space to launch spotlight, you can just press f4 on the Air. also f3 to go to mission control, and f6 to turn on do not disturb.

I really love the M1 MBP Touch Bar where I can take screen shot directly with a finger touch, whereas with my previous MacBook late 2009 that got decommissioned after 11 years - I had to recollect the keyboard shortcut from my memory when it doesn’t come spontaneously to me ... that was difficult. To get this feature u need customise the Touch Bar to incorporate the camera icon.

On Hot Corners, holding Command, Option, Control, or Shift down in the selector window will add that key to any Hot Corner action, and you’ll need to hold the key while moving your mouse to activate the Hot Corner. Useful if you’re worried about accidentally triggering the Hot Corner with just a mouse move.
