Great review Mojax - I'm sold - it probably works out cheaper than my Ecamm Live subscription in the long run with extra functionality

I absolutely love mine, must do a video showing what I’ve been up to with it...

New sub for the fact you gave those two dudes a shout out at the top of your already terrific video. #Respect! I’ve learned a lot from them, and now you.

Thanks for this review! Well done! I know and have seen the 2 excellent YouTube Channels you referred to at the beginning of this video but I find this review refreshing because it is done from a real-life user point of view rather than from a more technical point of view on the subject. It's always good to have both points of view. Thanks again for this video... keep them coming! !. André :)

btw a pcie capture card with 4 hdmi inputs that support up to 4K30 is 300$ so if you already have a PC it isn't such a expensive upgrade anymore, compared to before where the only pcie card with 4hdmi ports that didn't require you to sell a kidney was black magics decklink quad hdmi for 650$. What most people don't know about the streaming software and PCs is that if you have a quadro graphics card the hardware encoder chip on those is not artificially limited by nvidia to only 2 videos/streams like the GTX cards. The 4 camera view with a animated background uses barely any resources if setup correctly, I only say this so people don't get the idea that streaming with a PC is this convoluted thing that requires a data center in order to work, it's pretty simple just requires some time to learn these things and the things you can do with a PC can destroy hardware solutions if you start getting into more complex graphics that react to inputs or other data.

As a conclusion to my comment i would say the main selling point of the ATEMs are the mobility and convenience you save by not having to carry around a PC in order to stream. If you have a PC with decent components adding a capture card is not that much of a issue anymore, I have done jobs with a 2700x ryzen processor and a 1080ti and it handled 6 4K hdmi inputs like a boss, these components are now about 400$ to purchase, so if you like to tinker with things put the time in to learn the material or if that is not your thing purchase a hardware device to save time.

Awesome! I would LOVE to know how you created the circle pattern with the graphics around it. That was amazing!!

@Mojaxx, as you're an audio professional, I'd really like to hear your perspective on the utility of the built-in Fairlight FX in the ATEM vs. the Rodecaster Pro (obviously, an XLR pre-amp of some type would be necessary if you're using an XLR mic).

Excellent video as always bro. Quick Question. When doing the green screen in OBS for the overlay are you connecting your computer via USB port or via one of HDMI ports

an important detail is @ 9:30 you mention to record from individual HDMI input, the HDMI input has to be Black Magic cameras for recording ISO, as earlier you did mention camera control for the BM cameras, an important detail to know when purchasing extreme or extreme ISO, ISO is only Black Magic Cameras....

"Street" ...what do you know ? I had mine for a min now (non-iso). You better know someone that knows someone that knows someone for a lower price. I have to say it is overkill for simple streaming for many DJs esp. those with no BM camera. You can still record and stream with the Mini pro and the stream bridge is an option for HDMI. I use mine for live event streaming coupled with Vmix. The 2nd HDMI is used for house display. Good review though.

I just bought the ISO. I'm using it for a 3-5 camera podcast. While they are shooting I'm cutting in and out between hosts/guests and computer. The idea is to swap the footage later with the UHD out of camera and just make the minor adjustments in Resolve. My current method is to do the first pass roughly cutting in the person who is talking, then a second pass to hit the right frame, and then the last pass to cut the excess space adding overlays etc. 3 passes. Sometimes I do 2 passes at once. I do this to keep it fresh, but with the ISO i'm hoping to just do the last two passes at once. This i'm hoping will cut my editing time down from 3 days to 1 day.

Love the Snarf from Thundercats, Bruv!

How did you get that colorful ring around yourself, Bruv?

Good video. As I am not into the DJ scene I did not what to expect from your video. If you ever get fed up with DJ-ing you have a good future in sales. You ran through that Atem like a pro. I'm a broadcast engineer and I could appreciate your expertise.
