I just got fitted for these irons last week! I had it down to the Mizuno 223, the Titleist T100s, and the Srixon Zx7, and then asked about the King Tours as a wild card. They weren't even a demo option so we put tape on the 7iron. They felt/sounded better than T100s, though not quite so good as 223 or Zx7. Biggest surprise was every time I brought back the club in the backswing, I always felt confident I'd make a decent strike and I always got a decent result (unless I fatted it 😛). The Zx7 were easiest to pure until I got tired, but the King Tour was consistent even when I got tired. Quite happy with my purchase so far!

I’d be interested in a review of Ben Hogan PTx Pro irons.

Ben Hogan PTx Pro :) I have the Combo set with the Icon short irons so I can't speak on the short irons, but the long irons are buttery soft. I have the black ones. Gorgeous.

Thanks Matt. Looking to replace my R11s simply due to wear and these now on the short list to try out.

I’m a big Ping fan and play i210’s for 80% of my game (I play Lynx Tour forged blades for the remainder) BUT I am looking at these Cobra MIM tours in the copper finish as a possible new set for 2022!

Would be great to see you try the Wilson Staff CB irons, I've just got fit for them and they feel really good.

Thank you for another great review video Matt. My son, loves his Cobras. I'll share this with him as well as others.
Please consider trying Sub 70. Peter Finch tested their 649 blades last year. Would truly love to see your review with maybe the 639CB's or TAIII's. I've heard a lot of people say the TAIII are the best feeling irons they have ever used.
Please consider it Matt. Look forward it all your up coming video. Keep up the great work, Cheers!

I play Mizuno Jpx 921 Forged. Love em. I will tell you that I hit every club on the market. THE absolute softest irons of the OEMs was the Taylormade P760 (yeah, I know they’re not brand new now) and the Ping i210.

I made an iron switch last year. Was playing the King Forged Tour which I liked a lot. I had considered MiM irons but went with the MP20 MMCs. I always go back to Mizuno. Wouldn’t mind seeing you try some higher end Honmas

Using Cobra F-Max irons for the last few months and very impressed with how forgiving they are

I have a previous generation of cobra players' forged cavities (flyz+). They are fantastic (and very similar to these!).
Definitely an underrated range of irons, and consequently very good value cf the normal suspects.

I started playing the King Mim Tours last year and man I love them. They are super easy to hit, and very forgiving. Love the Tours!!!

Would like to see you try both the Callaway Apex Pro's and the Apex TCB's.

These reviews are great. I'd like to see something like PXG irons be tested. Can either be the value irons like the 0211 Dual Core, or the higher end with the 0311 Gen4. I use their 0811 Gen4 driver and love it. Have been between these Cobra irons (in the video) and PXG irons in most of my research.

Love the club reviews. No mention of ping? Would love to see you test out some ping irons that are not blades but not high handicap. Not sure if they have anything new on horizon? Love to see something like the i210 but those are older. Thanks and love the videos.

I’d like to see the Wilson CB’s. Someone that does fittings suggested them to me if I were going to change my Callaway Steelhead XR’s. I’d honestly be curious to see what you think. Being Canadian, I’d also get a hold of the guys at Haywood. They came out with a players iron and a CB that are forgiving. Cheers Matt.

Try out the Maltby TE Forged irons (or DBM Forged) from the GolfWorks. I own a set from 3-PW and it feels awesome and looks awesome.
