A blurry background is a cheap and lazy way to isolate your subject! What about getting better at composing your shots instead?

I guess it really depends where you live.. the center of my city is a hotspot for tourists so going out with a big ass zoom lens makes you blend in even more. The 50-150 range is so versatile for street imo

Use a small camera 😂 here I am using a Sony full frame with a 70-200

Shallow depth of field is really only an excuse for not looking to improve at street. I know we aren’t all Garry winogrand, but a good picture can be made without stupid long focal lengths. You should be able to work on getting good photos without the crutches of an aesthetic subject with a blurred background

Don’t listen to this. It’s much better to use zone focusing in the streets!

Honestly at the end of the second shooting day I definitely use one-shot mode to safe some energy 💪🏼

There is a slight difference between servo af and continuous af since servo only adjusts while the shutter button is half-pressed while continuous af just adjusts constantly to wherever the focus point is set
