I wish each season had like 15 episodes. This show is addicting

Paul Giamatti’s performance is worth the price of admission alone!

Stellar season. I've been waiting YEARS for peak Black Mirror to return, and this hit the spot.

The Eulogy episode really got me. Definitely could relate, and Paul Giamatti gives such a powerful performance.

Anyone who dismisses Hotel Reverie as just woke shouldn't be taken seriously.. so much more to it than that

I am looking forward to this season. I can't believe that we are getting new seasons of Black Mirror, Love, Death & Robots, and Stranger Things in the same year. "San Junipero" and "Shut Up and Dance" are my favorite episodes.

Personally found eulogy the most boring, by no means a bad episode but just not that engrossing as the others

Bete Noere was great even if the ending felt a little goofy. I like how Maria was confident on her sanity and refused to be gaslit. That technology would be pretty scary if it was real.

Woke lost it's meaning. Woke used to mean "to be aware of one's surroundings" "to open one's eyes." Now it is just a slur for sexism/racism. Black Mirror used to actually be woke. It was a warning of what the future could hold if we don't do better, or at least pay attention to what is going on around us.

Woke or not, Hotel reverie was just a really bad episode. So much so most people I ask about what they thought of it didn't even finish it. It's a skip.

They skipped a year, I'm so glad it's back!

#1 is USS Callister: Into Infinity, it builds on the fantastic first installment so well. Tangible stakes, action, and fascinating exploration on what makes an individual who and how they are. Too much spoilers from the trailers and previews, don't watch those before the ep if ya'll haven't!
#2 Eulogy; stunning acting and meditation on grief and memory.
#3 Hotel Reverie; romance level high, bittersweet and also alarming implications.
#4 Plaything; seems a bit unfinished, but interesting.
#5 Common People; this one is classic Black Mirror being on the money about a very possible near future tech being used in the worst way & I see why they made it a bookend episode with USS Callister: Into Infinity.
#6 Bete Noire; a whole lot of certain tropes that the episode sadly doesn't interrogate.

I just watched all episodes. The fifth, 'Eulogy' was the most memorable to me. It is not only melancholic, sad, or depressing. It is shocking. Probably those get it the best, who lost someone who was the 'One', and had to live with it for decades. I had to stop several times, and take a deep breath.

I'm halfway through and this is the best Black Mirror has been in a long time.

Just finished watching five of the six episodes of this season. I've seen all of the other six seasons. I gotta say, I think Eulogy might now be my favorite Black Mirror episode of them all. Paul Giamatti was superb as always! Have tissues ready for this one. Hotel Reverie was also excellent this season. Waiting to watch the USS Callister follow-up until I can get together with my fiance.

God damn, this season was actually really good. I've got a few nitpicks here and there but overall every episode was pretty great in it's own way. The USS Callister sequel was just as good as the first one. Season 6 was a let down and my expectations for season 7 weren't that good but I was pleasantly surprised. USS Callister was one of my favourite episodes of the show and the sequel was just as equally brilliant. This season felt a lot like the earlier seasons with their bleak and tragic storylines. Eulogy is one that really hits you emotionally. Black Mirror is always at its best when it's the human heart intertwined with technology, and I'm glad we back got to stories like that. They really are timeless and can be related to by anybody.
