While each vehicle may have strong and weak points, there are three that I'd point out in a Forester 1) great visibility from the interior, 2) extra comfortable suspension as it's a car thought for light offroad as well, and 3) the awd system (available from the base trim as well). These three features make the Forester different.

At 6'3" I had a very hard time trying to enter the Toyota ... Suby ... just jump in .... on my 4th Suby Forester. remember ... change the engine oil just before 500 miles as in all new cars.

Because of the over top RAV4 Hybrid gas mileage puts the Toyota ahead. The AWD Rav4 Hybrid does not have a drive shaft.

I would say drive both because I’ve owned both and RAV4 is much better ride and more powerful engine. Forester is a cheaper old fashion. Looks like something back in the 80’s

I would’ve chosen the Subaru Forrester for myself if Subaru made a plug-in hybrid SUV.

Or even a standard hybrid SUV that isn’t the Subaru Crosstrek.

I drive far too much to be able to afford anything less than 45 miles per gallon

My Toyota RAV4 returns anywhere from 45 to 46 miles per gallon
