I love my 400i. You're right, it reminds me of Darth Maul's ship so much. It even has the bike storage area, just like Maul used in Episode 1.

This is the single safest ship in the game. She can easily tank anything fast enough to catch her, and outrun anything that might pose a threat. On top of that, she has triple redundant power plants and coolers, with several additional components cooled in refrigerated areas, presumably to decrease the chance of a fire. She will make for an amazing exploration ship for when you just want to survive at all costs.

When it released at IAE 2951, I liked it enough to pick it up, along with the Meridian and Penumbra paints, but it didn't replace my Mercury as my daily driver until Luminalia 2951. It's been my daily driver ever since. Ironically, now that I have Meridian paints for all my Crusader ships (Mercury, Ares, and C2), I've gone back to using the Penumbra paint so that my X1-Force matches.

Overall, I agree with you, except... early on, you say, "it's not the fastest, " and while that's _technically true, there are few ships that are faster than it in space, and even fewer in atmo. So, yes, it is not the fastest ship in the 'verse, but when a 3-person luxury yacht can outrun a lot of fighters, all while carrying a bike, a significant armoury, enough cargo for living off the grid for a good long while, and still have space for an STV or a Cyclone. I prefer Rhinos over ballistics. I had thought about going with ballistics, but then I ran into some hostiles hovering over an Investigation Mission crash site. A pair each of Cutty Blacks, Vanguards, Starfarer Geminis, and Reclaimers. I took them all down, but I would have ran out of ammo if I'd tried it with ballistics. Then I wished I'd had a Reclaimer of my own there. 🤣

I love the 400i, but it needs a little bit of a cargo grid that isn't directly on the elevator platform. If it were possible to store a couple of 2 SCU boxes on a grid, similar to the 600i, and then chuck a Cyclone on the elevator, that'd be great. And I need them to fix the X1 bay so that you can actually store an X1 in there without the dang thing rattling all around in there. But then again, same goes for any ground vehicle and any elevator platform.

I love my 400i, I went for the ad4b gatlings and the penumbra paint, i use it for bunker running all the time and love it. Other ships i have or out there to buy better daily's? Yes but like you said the 400i just has something about it that i like using. We truly do have the same taste in ships lol.

I love the 400i`s component redundancy. even with one cooler and plant left, its more than enough.

But damn, I wish it would inherit the 100 series hydrogen generator

I don't own the 400i, but I understand why you love it so much. It has a Star Wars vibe.

I use my 400i for bounty hunting. Everyone looks at the "luxury" tag and never even tries to fight with it. This ship's tanky as hell and 2 rhinos for the pilot is enough to take down enemy ships easily.

This ship is the toy hauler! Once the tumbril ranger comes out you can load a X1 and a couple rangers in it and take your buddies off to run bunker missions or just have fun!

You know what's sad, I am still saving up for one in game, because I kind of miss it as as "daily driver". If only it could house a ROC then it would be more useful. If they were to redesign this ship, I would have the front fold in completely making it streamlined in flight but then have this shielded kind of look when deployed. I would move the top turret to the top of the ship and have the turrets retract unless powered on, again to streamline the ship. I would also make it capable of carrying the ROC, or at least some kind of ground based medical vehicle if they want to keep the pathfinder thing going.

Great video! I love seeing ships I don't usually play with or fight against being reviewed!

Designed to run away. Enough shield and speed to get you to quantum. And the double rear turrets in the back will keep the faster(usually smaller) enemies off you.

I use it to bunker run in style. And loot cargo from VhRTs. And you can move a lot of cargo, not just the 42 scu cargo elevator. Just takes moving around the ship.

Also I forgot to mention, because the 400i has three of every component. If you take two of each component out, the missing component spaces now become storage lockers. They are big enough to fit rail guns and boxes. Also the four escape pods can hold about ten boxes if stacked correctly on the padding and the floor space below it, right before where the glass door shuts. I've tested extensively and only found issues with the Port side escape pod, closest to the center of the ship. It eats boxes, and forces them into the skin of the ship, turning the 400i into a six million dollar Maraca.

I hope they'll bring some kind of military grade or pirate version of this ship. With a top turret, better guns and reinforced front to ram/cut through other ships inspired from the Harlock series

I'm waiting for my 325a to turn into the weapon it should be. I hope the 400i also turns into a quick ship however I believe the MSR will be a better ship at many aspects. However the 400i is a flex. I love the skin and have a great day

Lol, My 400i is my daily driver in SC. It will outrun most ships in the game and is a very fast delivery ship with a snappy Quantum Drive too.

She was an instant buy for me when she was announced. I melted her for a bit due to fleet shuffling around but it's been back in my fleet permanently now. For a point A to B to C ship she's amazing. I just wish the cargo bay was bigger enough to carry an Ursa, but then she'd be unstoppable.
