The EASIEST WAY to get to the Namalsk SUBMARINE | DayZ

There's an easy way to get to the submarine from spawning and running to Vorukta - after looting up, its just 2 turns away. Don't forget to get something to start enough fires; it generally takes 3 sticks to go from blue to white with +.

Extra tip: If you see a "double" ice ridge, then changes are you've gone too far turn around and follow the edge of the ice again.

I jumped into the portal during a storm without activating the machine. It dumped me in the glacier about 4km from the sub and only required one short swim. Would be a good way to get there on a loot route, but I didn’t have any wood and ended up dying of the cold once I arrived

It's not the easiest way. It's easier to go from the two houses on the coast east of Jalivisko. Take a compass reading of the same direction of the dock and just follow that compass straight there. It's quicker than your route. Do the opposite reading to come back. No chance of getting lost in a storm. You will die if there is a storm using this route.

Cool guide thanks! However, realistically, if you were to jump in the water like that, you would not even be able to swim and if you somehow can, your clothes would freeze before you could start a fire, speaking from experience. :P
