Funfact about canal: there are actually 3 places which is considered overgrowth caves. You just need to be low enough in elevation.
The place carbon was standing is one of them. The others are easy to find you just need to move around the conception conch rock and the other rock.

I feel like for this to be more accurate you need to repeat it, or multiple people simultaneously do it -with the same rod and same bait, then find the average of that. Cause the more heavenly mythicals you get the more money you'll receive

Realistically the mythics and legendaries are more common in The depths. Which is a very quick money farm for people who can go to the depths.

Especially with trident with Atlantian passive, I made 200k-400k under an hour

Grand Reef Currently holds the best fishing spot for XP grinding.

The Grand Reef Guardian will give 11k+ exp (With Clever Enchant) and near 24k when stacked together with the 2x gamepass. The Coral Emperor gives 6k exp (With Clever), I got 400 levels in less than 35 hours.

Forsaken Shores' Pond holds the second place, normally anyone else would disagree and would rather say Ancient Isles takes the cake, but no. Meg's fang and Meg's Spine would hinder your XP progression even with Clever enchantment, this goes to show that Captain's Goldfish is the better option.

Captain's Goldfish gives 9k guaranteed exp with Clever Enchantment, 18k with gamepass with also no other contenders.

Ancient Isles is rather complicated when farming XP on there. Helicorpion, if I remember correctly, gives 7k. Dunkleosteus, 6k and Mosasaur 10k. The fact that you'd rather get Meg's Fang or Spine with such a higher chance is garbo.

I would rather farm Captain's Goldfish for less complications.

Edit: Use Rod of the Depths with Clever enchant for a faster grind (For macro or for the one's who use scripts.). No Life Rod with Clever for manual grind.

carbon what do u think about buffing rotff, idk as the hardest rod to get in the game its not exactly near being the best, plus the passive is broken, instead of catching a "higher tier" it legit catches the same thing, not only that but its has no mutation passive which honestly kills it, unlike heavens rod and Rotek who are top tier and easier to acquire then rotff, IM sorry it just as someone who decided to put time into grinding hard to get rotff, it does not feel fulfilling since I'm still stuck on either heavens rod or rotek. i wish u would notice this and maybe tell the devs about it, because i think rotff deserves both a stat buff and passive buff

with my own experiment i got 150k on reef in 40 mins and 350k in canal in 40 mins, heavenly rod

The grand reef mythic actually gives more xp than the captain goldfish, with the captain goldfish giving 18k xp for a perfect catch and the grand reef mythic gives about 30k to 33k, and by catching it normally it gives about 16k: Disclaimer this is with clever and 2x xp but you should get the same results but just with lower xp.
