Thank you that was so clear and exactly what I was looking for - just the right length and so helpful . I plucked and gutted and cooked 2 chickens today and couldn’t have done it without your help!

4 people had a tofu chicken breast while watching this !  we raised and killed chickens, hogs and cows growing up and it is all hard work and a great learning experience . all that meat in the grocery stores does not commit suicide . thanks for sharing .

Thank you. My dad did this when we were little, but he wouldn't let me watch. I was six, and snuck around the other side of the house to watch him. All I got to see was him cutting the heads off. He caught me watching...thanks. I needed to know this.

God has given me this task in preparation. Thanks for sharing. It's been 20 years since I had processed a chook, not since high school. I have chooks atm just for eggs and when I get a piece of land will get meat birds.

'Buckskin Jack' cleans those yard birds so fast. I guess if he was born with that mustache and the knife, he should be fast. Thank you for the video.

Thanks Mr. Hilder for the demonstration, and thank you Starry for filming and putting the vid out. I was raised around farm animals, and would always get grossed out at the hog roasts when I'd go behind the barn and see the head staring at me. We mostly had dairy cows, and that milk is thick right out of the cow, and tastes much different then the pasteurized crap at the store. I wish my grandparents hadn't stopped farming, but the governot pretty much made it impossible to make a profit many years ago. God bless.
