Most of the people that actually really hate furries are like teenagers that know nothing about the fandom and just follow what other haters say cause they don't have their own mind to actually research anything

Haters are just kids basically
No adult with the right mind will actually hate something for real just because someone else hates it

Once you are mature enough you realize all this is just how people decide to spend their free time

Calling something cringe just because you don't do it, or calling someone a degenerate because they do something that you don't is really stupid

Truth is furries are normal people with an interesting but slightly different hobby.
And people that genuinely hate them have some growing up to do.

As someone who was in the furry fandom and believed this a lot; especially to the kiddos and young adults (18-20 year olds are hella targets to people who want “barely legal” relationships and this odd mentality that being legal somehow means automatic consent to s3xual activities), just be careful because it’s a lot more than “just a handful” unfortunately. I wanted to see the community in such a positive light but from personal experience I had to learn the hard way that degenerates are at least attracted to specifically the furry fandom because of its reputation. Again not to put every furry down, I’m a furry in concept (even working on a head rn) just a warning to everyone that believes the dangerous weirdos are like rare unicorns in the fandom, cus they’re more common than these statements lead on. Stay safe

I think it's stupid how people hate furries and yet they love cosplayerers like it's the same exact thing and yet people hate furries so much more. Like kids have killed themselves cause they were furries and they couldn't take the hate. Like just let people enjoy being what they want to be.
