I'm a retired Expat from the US and I live in Vila do Conde. Close to Porto and the airport, it is perfect for me. The Metro goes to Porto and from there, anywhere in the country by train. I don't have or need a car.

weather in Madeira and in Açores is different. In the south of Madeira you have great temperatures during all year, way better than in the mainland! And this is not an opinion, it's a fact lol

Great vid . We’re looking to retire to portugal from the Uk in 5 years if they don’t change the d7 visa requirements. Starting to explore this year, first city to visit this October will be Portimao . I was married to a Portuguese girl from Porto for 16 years so I know the north isn’t for me . Algarve js my choice . Just hoping 20k euros is a year to live on after we’ve bought a place outright
